Reading in 2010

As always, input is appreciated.  I shall simply list, in alphabetical order, the books I read this year.  Keep in mind that I have a busy year ahead of me so if I don't get to a book you suggested it's probably because I have to read the complete works of Herman Melville (no joke!) this spring, finish two semesters of grad school, including teaching, and write a thesis this year. Total - 9 . Coleridge, Samuel Taylor  The Rime of the Ancient Mariner and Other Poems. Gladwell, Malcolm  Blink Greenblatt, Stephen  Marvelous Possesions Greene, Graham  The Power and the Glory Gary Hotham  Breathmarks: Haiku to read in the dark Hijuelos, Oscar  Mr. Ives' Christmas Shellabarger, Samuel  Tolbecken Tolkein, J.R.R.  Roverandom Wilson, Douglas  Joy at the End of the Tether: The Inscrutable Wisdom of Ecclesiastes

Soldier of the Mist by Gene Wolfe. Just so happens I've got a copy for you. (Unfortunately it is only a paperback (mass market at that)).

Also I got Jared a copy of Romans from the Daily Study Bible to see if he likes it.

Woohoo! I can't wait to read the Gene Wolfe book. We should have you guys over tonight. I'll call you.

The three Gene Wolfe books that my wife picked up for you, I have a copy of the second volume in the series, which you are missing. So when you read it I can lent.

Most excellent. I hope to read them the week after the semester is over. The Patchins are vacationing at the Grand Canyon and I will be reading the whole way down and back again.

Hoping to invite you guys over this weekend – our house is still recovering from the last spasm of remodeling.
