Me

December 15th, 2007

So yeah…I like reading. I also like my family which consists of my no-adjective-is-powerful-enough husband, Jared, my wonderful sons Alex and Luc and my huge extended family, most of whom live here in Boise too. I like my business, Veritas Fine Books & Coffeehouse where I spend most of my time. And I like to climb rocks, play volleyball, run, and backpack but as I’ve been pregnant for most of the last two years or so I haven’t done much of them. I did climb at the Black Cliffs about two months after I had Alex and a month before I got pregnant with Luc, Jared and I went backpacking when I was 5 months pregnant (the first time) but that didn’t turn out too well as I couldn’t carry my pack the last mile and I got a few short runs in between pregnancies. Still no volleyball for two years and very little outdoor activity is making me glad that reading is really my favorite pastime (reading is why I couldn’t pack that backpack in…it had five books in it!). Jared and I have been married almost three years, we met at church late in 2003 and we packed out 2005 with our wedding, buying a house and buying the bookstore. Alex arrived early in 2007 just before we moved the bookstore and opened the coffeehouse and as I write this Luc is expected either late 2007 or early 2008. Obviously we’re not into leisure time. We are blessed to be able to work together though and happy to have our son(s) at Veritas with us most days.

So that’s as much about me as I think will interest you…if you want to know more you can read this blog, my blog over at www.veritasboise.com or email me.

Well said, Word Lily! I added the blog to my feed reader, too. I also wrote a post on my own blog because I think the idea is awesome.
Good luck on your project, we will be cheering for you all the way!

Thanks for the encouraging comment you left on my blog. I really enjoy reading your updates. Maybe next year I could try for 50, and then 100 the next … baby steps. :)
