Unusually Receptive
So I’ve had this blog for several years now and I’ve found it to be a a very good part of my life. Â I enjoy posting here and have very much enjoyed getting to know new people through this venue. Â I like being a hostess and hosting my readers is very easy.
Still, 200 books has foundered of late. Â I’ve been very busy this past year (nothing new, really) and that busyness has not lent itself to regular posting. Â Of course the original premise of the blog is gone, I am not now, nor have I been for some time, attempting to read 200 books in a year. Â I know that the books are what brought me my original readers but I have no clue of the current makeup of my audience and what aspects of my writing are interesting to them. Â I have no intention of developing a new “theme” but I am curious what bits of the hodge-podge are worthwhile to others.
Very few of those of you who read take the time to comment, but I would be unusually receptive to input on this post. Â I am mulling over my time management and long-term goals right now and me (and my ego) would love to know what you like. Â Recipes? Â Book – talk? Â Academic life? Â The family stuff? Philosophizing? Â Moment by moment accounts of my day? Â Oh wait…that’s what Twitter is for…
Do chime in.
