Day Three Hundred and Sixteen
I fell asleep at about 8:30 last night. Ridiculous I know but my eyes were so heavy, I simply couldn’t help it. I do feel rested this morning, which is odd, but not, I think, worth it. I miss my husband since normally the two hours between the boys’ bedtime and our mutual unconsciousness is our only alone time. We often spend most of it reading but curled up together and holding hands. Anyway…must stay awake tonight!
I didn’t finish To the Lighthouse by Virginia Woolf like I should have but hope to keep from falling behind again. I’m still pretty groggy, so nothing substantive today, but best wishes on Friday Eve. May the week end quickly!

I finished a book yesterday. When I went to write it down, I realized it had been a whole month since a last finished a book of my own volition. You’re doing way better than that.

Tell you what, I’ll give you a quick snyopis of To the Lighthouse.
It is stupid.
It works for any Virginia Woolf novel. Watch….
Stupid Person: I really liked Mrs. Dalloway, what did you think of it Smart Person?
Smart Person: It was stupid!
Stupid Person: You thought it was stupid? What did you think of The Years?
Smart Person: I did not say I think it was stupid, I said it was stupid, just as stupid as The Years.
Stupid Person: Her works are not stupid, she is way cooler than Yoda and she won a fist fight with Mr. T.
Smart Person: If you were not so stupid you would understand that Virgina Wolf was stupid and everthing she did was stupid.
Smart Person doing his best hand on the face reaction with a distored voice: Look at me! I think Viginia Wolf is the bomb! Take that Commander Catz! I’m a Strange Attractor who thinks I’m on an original trajectory! Moooooo!
