Day Two Hundred and Forty Nine

The Magic Mountain Thomas Mann Page: 331 I'm not enjoying my book much and the weekend starts tomorrow when no one ever posts comments anyway, so it's all about adorable kids tonight. Here is Alex sporting his new little boy clothes and looking quite grown up. Those adorable boots? A mere 25 cents at a yard sale. img_1220.jpg And more of his adorableness. img_1212.jpgimg_1219.jpgimg_1230.jpg That's my boy, reading Jane Austen, drinking red wine and helping Daddy! Don't think we've forgotten our other adorable child. img_1164.jpgimg_1174.jpgimg_1237.jpg He never quits smiling, except of course when he's screaming. Still it seems like the kid has an extra "happy" chip in his head or something.

I’m sorry to hear Magic Mountain isn’t a favorite. I have that on my personal challenge list! I don’t know anything about it, but I was hoping it was good!

Well I’m not done with it yet and I was pretty depressed while I was trying to read it, so don’t give up hope yet. I’ll go back to it soon and let you know what I think when I’m done.
